We are one body. We are Soma.
Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.
Hey, my name is Scott and I am the student ministries pastor at Renovation and I am happy you are checking us out.
Today, being a teenager is far more complex and nuanced than many of us believe. They are told to believe something, but not to share it because it might be wrong or someone might not like it. They are told to accept and love everyone and every faith, but by choosing Christianity, they have made a statement about Who they will follow and that He alone is God. They are told to grow up, make a stand, enjoy life, get a job, excel in school, and get into a good job...but sometimes, the deeper things, get set aside.
At Renovation Students, our goal is to provide the place and space for students to connect with the love and life of Jesus in a powerful way. We engage in worship, The Word, and small groups that can create lasting and meaningful relationships that allow each student to feel safe. We speak the truth in love. We guide, direct, and pray for each student. As we gather each week, either in small groups or all-together, our goal is to show Jesus to each student, help them find freedom, and challenge them into a stronger faith that is their own.
I hope your child is able to join us and the work God is doing here in Renovation Students!
